Culinary Feast in Szczuka: Fish Not Only for the Holidays!

On November 15, 2025, a culinary show "Fish Not Only for the Holidays" took place in the village community center in Szczuka.

The event was attended by representatives of all rural housewives' associations from the municipality. The workshops were led by Michał Stejka, the owner of the Stacja Tama-Domowe Smaki Restaurant.

Participants had the opportunity to learn how to prepare fish in a new and delicious way. Dishes such as the following appeared on the tables:

• Gravlax with salmon
• Dumplings with salmon, potatoes and smoked cottage cheese
• Pike perch in puff pastry
• Herring Japanese style
• Herring in the raftsman style

At the end, the ladies received certificates of completion of the training and tasted the prepared dishes together.
