End of the National Campaign "Childhood without Violence"

November 19 marked the end of the national campaign "Childhood without Violence". Throughout the campaign, police officers conducted talks and lectures on various forms of violence.

The aim of the campaign was to raise public awareness of the problem of child abuse in Poland and to encourage people to react to violence. The main partner was the Children's Rights Ombudsman.

Police officers from Brodnica conducted educational activities in schools, during which they discussed types of violence, taught how to react to the harm and suffering of victims of violence, where to seek help, and how to report the problem anonymously. Videos on violence, especially cyberviolence, were also shown.

The officers also informed about the consequences of violence, the responsibility of minors for hate speech and sharing images without consent.

Remember that the end of the campaign is symbolic and does not release us from the obligation to ensure the safety of children and react to violence against them.
