Finale of the "Childhood without Violence" Campaign in Brodnica

On November 19, 2025, as part of the celebration of the International Day for the Prevention of Violence against Children, the finale of the "Childhood without Violence" campaign took place. The Municipality of Brodnica actively participated in it for another year. All schools in Brodnica were invited to cooperate and participate in educational activities for a safe childhood and the prevention of harm to children.

Intensive Educational Activities

For six weeks from the campaign's inauguration on October 6, 2025, numerous educational initiatives were carried out, such as class meetings, poster campaigns, prevention workshops on combating violence, and computer science lessons dedicated to cyberbullying. School-based happenings were also organized.

Meetings with Specialists

Students had the opportunity to meet with a police officer, addiction therapist, court curator, and a City Hall employee to discuss the issue of violence.

Other Celebrations

As part of the campaign, World Kindness Day, Tolerance Day, and Peer Violence Prevention Week were also celebrated.

The Brodnica Social Services Center was symbolically illuminated in red.

Activities throughout the year

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the problem of violence and mobilize society to protect children. In Brodnica, activities do not end with the campaign. Throughout the 2025/2026 school year, activities strengthening the mental resilience of students, conducted by teachers and specialists, are planned in educational institutions.
