Important Changes in Train Speed on the Brodnica - Jabłonowo Pomorskie Route!

PKP Polish Railway Lines S.A. announces an increase in the maximum train speeds on railway line No. 208 Działdowo - Chojnice, on the Brodnica - Jabłonowo Pomorskie section (mileage 55.480 ÷ 77.585) from December 14, 2025.

Therefore, in the vicinity of railway crossings in our region, trains will be able to reach speeds from 80 to even 120 km/h. This change applies to both passenger trains and rail buses.

We appeal to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to exercise extreme caution when crossing railway crossings in Brodnica and the surrounding area. Higher train speed means shorter reaction time and more difficult braking. The train may also be less audible.

The speed changes apply to the following crossings:

• Brodnica, Kolejowa St. - crossing on the municipal road (line 208, km 55.553)
• Brodnica, Niskie Brodno St. - crossing on the county road (line 208, km 56.056)
• Brodnica, Rataja St. - Niskie Brodno St. passage - labyrinth (line 208, km 56.707)
