November 16th - World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

On November 16, 2025, we commemorate the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. This initiative originated in 1993 from the British organization Road Peace. Since 2005, under a resolution of the UN General Assembly, we celebrate this day on the third Sunday of November.

Memory and Solidarity

This day is a special expression of remembrance for those who have lost their lives or health on the roads, and solidarity with their families. Every year, road accidents claim the lives of many people, and even more are permanently injured.

Appeal for Prudence

The police appeal to all road users to be cautious and prudent, especially in the autumn period when weather conditions can be variable. Let's adjust our speed to the prevailing conditions to arrive safely at our destination.
