New Local Tourist Organization for Pojezierze Brodnickie

On November 12, 2025, the founding meeting of the Local Tourist Organization "Pojezierze Brodnickie" Association took place at the Brodnica City Hall.

Purpose of the Association

The main goal of the new organization is the promotion and development of tourism in Pojezierze Brodnickie. The association also aims to cooperate with local governments, tourist entities and social organizations in the development, promotion and protection of the region's natural and cultural heritage.

Election of Authorities

During the meeting, resolutions were unanimously adopted to establish the LOT Pojezierze Brodnickie Association, adopt the statute and elect the Management Board and Audit Committee.

Management Board:

• President: Iwona Sugalska (representative of the Mayor of Brodnica)
• Vice President: Magdalena Golubska (Mayor of Zbiczno Commune)
• Secretary: Małgorzata Gutowska (President of the Ecological and Cultural Association "Pojezierze Brodnickie")
• Treasurer: Jacek Ruciński (Mayor of the City and Commune of Górzno)
• Management Board Members: Paweł Szramka (Starosta of Brodnica), Jarosław Orzech (Head of the Management Board Office of the PTTK Branch in Brodnica)

Audit Committee:

• Chairman: Sławomir Seroka (Director of the Brodnica Landscape Park)
• Secretary: Kamil Durszlewicz (Mayor of Świedziebnia Commune)
• Member: Paweł Klonowski (Mayor of Bobrowo Commune)

Cooperation for the development of Pojezierze

The new organization is to be a platform for cooperation between local governments, institutions, non-governmental organizations and entrepreneurs from the tourism industry to jointly work for the development of tourism and the promotion of the values ​​of Pojezierze Brodnickie.
