Safety Debate in Brodnica

On November 5, 2025, a social debate on safety was held at the Occupational Therapy Workshops on Wyspiańskiego Street in Brodnica. The event was organized by the Brodnica County Police Headquarters.

Debate proceedings

The debate was opened by the 1st Deputy Commander of the Brodnica County Police, Superintendent Krzysztof Miłek, who welcomed the guests and participants. Then, the head of the traffic department discussed the rules for safe riding on electric scooters and the regulations for pedestrians and cyclists. Specialists from the criminal department, Aspirant Łukasz Grzywacz and Detective Kamila Skonieczka, presented the types of Internet and telecommunications crimes and ways to protect against them. Aspirant Izabela Rapicka presented the "My Command" application and the National Security Threat Map. Junior Aspirant Mariusz Borkowski presented the "District Officer Closer to Us" program and encouraged contact with district officers.

Summary

After the lectures, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers, to which they received comprehensive answers. The debate was devoted to topics of road safety, internet threats and the role of the district police officer in the local community.
