Marta Pesta Crowned Best Reader in Brodnica County!

On November 5, 2025, the 12th County Beautiful Reading Competition "Reader 2025" took place in Anna Wazówna Palace. Students from schools in Brodnica County competed for the title of best reader.

The competition was organized by the Ignacy Łyskowski Municipal and County Public Library in Brodnica. Marta Pesta from I LO in Brodnica won, receiving a prize funded by Brodnica County.

The jury, composed of Dorota Bibik, Aneta Giemza-Bartnicka, and Elżbieta Rutkowska, assessed fluency, reading correctness, diction, and the ability to convey the text. The level of presentation was exceptionally high.

Starosta Paweł Szramka gave the participants advice on public speaking.

Second place went to Maciej Sokołowski, and third place to Marta Dobrosielska, both from the III High School in Brodnica. Distinctions were awarded to: Nikola Jasińska, Marika Łapkiewicz, and Zofia Radzicka.

All participants received gifts funded by Brodnica County and the Municipality of Brodnica City.
