Conference in Brodnica City Hall Regarding the Reconstruction of DK15

An important meeting took place in the Brodnica City Hall regarding the reconstruction of the national road No. 15, on the section connecting Brodnica with Tama Brodzka. Among the participants were the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure Stanisław Bukowiec, Member of the Polish Parliament Zbigniew Sosnowski, Senator of the Polish Parliament Ryszard Bober, Director of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways Branch in Bydgoszcz Sebastian Borowiak, and Mayor of Brodnica Jarosław Radacz.

Tender Announced for Reconstruction

GDDKiA has announced a tender for the reconstruction of national road No. 15 on the aforementioned section. The investment will be carried out in the "Design and Build" system. The deadline for submitting offers is December 8, 2025. Construction works are scheduled for the years 2027-2029.

Scope of Work

The planned reconstruction includes a number of works, including:

• Road surface replacement, adapting it to loads of 115 kN/axle (approx. 4.4 km).
• Strengthening and connecting the shoulder on the landslide section.
• Reconstruction of intersections (including the construction of 2 roundabouts and the reconstruction of 2 intersections other than roundabouts).
• Construction of sidewalk sections and pedestrian and bicycle paths (approx. 5 km).
• Streamlining drainage and construction of exits.
• Execution of horizontal and vertical signage and road safety devices.
• Construction of an animal crossing and road culverts.
• Use of acoustic screens (approx. 1.5 km).

Additionally, the construction/reconstruction of bus bays (6 units), the construction of an additional road in the national road lane (approx. 1 km), and the construction of pedestrian crossings (12 units) are planned.
