Summary of Police Actions during "All Saints' Day 2025"

In the most crowded places, police officers manually directed traffic. Drivers showed understanding and patience, which greatly facilitated the work of the services.

Involved Services

The operation, which began on Friday, October 31, 2025, and ended today, November 3, 2025, involved numerous services, including the police (including traffic police and other departments), Military Police, municipal and communal guards, and WITD officers. Their task was to provide assistance and information, as well as to prevent dangerous situations.

Road Safety

Traffic police officers helped drivers at critical points. Residents of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship used public transport. Drivers who chose to travel by car cooperated with the police and patiently waited for the opportunity to pass.

Statistics

Last weekend (October 31 - November 2, 2025), 10 accidents occurred on the roads of the voivodeship, in which 18 people were injured. Fortunately, no one died. A year earlier (October 31 – November 3, 2024), there were 5 accidents, in which 7 people were injured. Also last year, no one died.

Drunk Drivers

Despite appeals for sobriety, the police stopped 51 drivers under the influence of alcohol. Last year, this number was 60.

The "All Saints' Day" operation is always a busy time for the police. The presence of services around cemeteries influences drivers to behave more reasonably and pedestrians to feel safer. Thanks to the cooperation of the public and services, no serious incidents occurred around cemeteries this year.
