Solemn Matriculation Ceremony in Cielęta and Gortatowo

On October 22, 2025, first-grade students from schools in Cielęta and Gortatowo were ceremoniously admitted as pupils. This special day began with reading activities led by Joanna Bonawenturska, Director of the Municipal Public Library in Szczuka. Then, the children took part in art workshops, where under the guidance of Elżbieta Krajnik and Joanna Szymańska, they made reflective badges themselves.

After the artistic part, during which the students presented their recitation and vocal talents, the official part followed. The children proudly swore to be good Poles, diligent students, and conscientiously fulfill their duties. The act of matriculation was performed by the School Director, Zenon Matuszewski, using a huge pencil for this purpose.

Councilors of the Brodnica Commune: Kamila Maciejewska and Rafał Roman, the School Director, Deputy Director Larysa Lewandowska, Presidents of the Parents' Council from Cielęta (Anita Grunwald) and Gortatowo (Ilona Reńska), first-grade teachers from Cielęta (Maryla Wolentarska) and Gortatowo (Renata Czarkowska) and class presidents from Cielęta (Alicja Szewczuk) and Gortatowo (Michalina Gołkowska) confirmed the admission of first-graders to the group of students by signing the Appointment Act.

At the end of the ceremony, the children received gifts and sweets from the Councilors of the Brodnica Commune, the School Director, and the Parents' Council. This special day will remain in the memory of all first-graders for a long time.
