Brodnica County Receives Funding to Support Foster Families

Brodnica County is among the beneficiaries of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. The grant of PLN 54,530 will enable the implementation of the project "Easier Together - Support for Foster Families in Brodnica County".

Support for Foster Families

The aim of the initiative is to support foster families and their wards. The project will establish a support group for foster parents and a club with sociotherapeutic activities for young people, which will become a place for integration, development, and joint action.

Social Bonus

The project is implemented as part of the Social Bonus, an innovative mechanism supporting the development of the local social services market.

Success of Brodnica County

Out of the 34 grants awarded, Brodnica County was the only county to receive funding for this type of undertaking in the third round of the third call. This is proof of the commitment to social issues and the effectiveness of local actions. The implementation of the "Easier Together" project is another step in building a family-friendly county.
