Teachers from Brodnica Honored with State and Departmental Awards

Employees of the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica have received prestigious awards for their teaching, educational and care work.

Ceremony in Toruń

During the ceremonial gala on the occasion of National Education Day, which took place on October 16, 2025 at the Karol Szymanowski Music School Complex in Toruń, educators from Brodnica were awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland, the Minister of Education and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education. The gala, organized by the Education Office in Bydgoszcz - Branch in Toruń, was attended by, among others, the Deputy Governor of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Piotr Hemmerling and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education Grażyna Dziedzic, who presented the decorations. Representatives of local government authorities, universities, trade unions and directors and teachers from the entire region were also present. A total of 152 people were honored.

Honored Teachers

The Gold Medal for Long Service was awarded to Krzysztof Kilkowski, Edmund Łobodziński, Krzysztof Roznerski and Krzysztof Suchorab. Marzena Janiszewska was honored with the Medal of the National Education Commission and the Award of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education. In their speeches, curator Grażyna Dziedzic and deputy governor Piotr Hemmerling expressed their appreciation for the awardees, emphasizing their professionalism, commitment and daily effort. The ceremony was highlighted by an artistic performance by Maria Wroniszewska.
