We are proud of the laureates!

During the XXV Gala of the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship Awards, which took place on October 3, 2025, at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Center, exceptional undertakings in various fields were recognized. Among the awardees were representatives of Brodnica County.

Education

Paweł Cieczko, a teacher from the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica, along with his students: Zuzanna Czupryńska, Jędrzej Pisarek, and Wiktor Gencel, was honored for the innovative educational project "Brodnica Beehouses - an oasis for small pollinators." This project promotes the protection of pollinating insects and raises ecological awareness.

Economy

The Polder company from Bobrowo, also from Brodnica County, received an award for its traditional fudge, which is a brand of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. This company has been ensuring the high quality and taste of its product for over 20 years.

Non-Governmental Projects

At the end of September, during the XVIII edition of the "Raisins from NGOs" competition at the Provincial Center for Cultural Animation in Toruń, the Rural Housewives' Association in Cielęta (Brodnica County) was awarded for the "Welcome to the Michałowska Land!" initiative in the category "Culture, national heritage and regional identity."
