New, Ecological Heat Sources for Brodnica

PEC in Brodnica now uses a diversified and ecological portfolio of energy sources:

• Modern gas boilers: Including the newest one, commissioned in 2024, with a capacity of 9.95 MW.
• High-efficiency cogeneration systems: Producing electricity and heat from natural gas, offering a total electrical power of over 4.8 MW.
• Photovoltaic installations: With a total capacity of 434 kW, installed on roofs and on the site of the former coal depot.
• Electric boiler: With a capacity of 2 MW, launched in 2025.
• Biomass boiler: With a capacity of 3 MW, which started operating in September 2025.
