Football Tournament for the Mayor of Brodnica's Cup Concluded!

On September 28th, the exciting Football Tournament for the Mayor of Brodnica's Cup took place at the "Orlik" field in Szczuka. Despite 6 teams registering, 5 teams from the Brodnica Commune ultimately participated in the fierce competition. The competition was conducted in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.

At 9:30 AM, a meeting of captains was held to discuss organizational matters and draw the order of matches.

On behalf of the Mayor of the Commune, Councilor Rafał Roman officially welcomed the participants, wishing them success and a good time.

The following teams competed: Zbieranina, Chłopaki z Baraku, SWiDD, Niedzielni Gracze, and Znicz Cielęta. After the matches were played in a "round robin" system, the final standings are as follows:

The best teams were awarded trophies, and all teams received balls. The Orlik animators, Tomasz Kamiński and Mateusz Kłosowski, served as organizers and referees, ensuring the smooth running of the tournament. Thanks also go to the firefighters of OSP Szczuka for securing the event. We sincerely thank all participants for their participation and sporting attitude!
