Brodnica County Schools Join "Clean Up the World" Campaign

On October 1, 2025, approximately 330 students from county schools in Brodnica actively participated in this year's edition of the "Clean Up the World" campaign. The youth, under the watchful eye of teacher-coordinators, enthusiastically cleaned designated areas in the municipalities, setting an example of caring for the natural environment.

Students from the following institutions were involved in the campaign:

• Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica (coordinators: Anita Głodowska, Magdalena Nowakowska, Ewelina Graczyk, Ewa Zdunowska, Małgorzata Wróblewska, Aleksandra Roznerska, Anna Kwiatkowska, Jakub Michalak)
• I High School in Brodnica (coordinator: Marta Sarnowska)
• School Complex in Jabłonowo Pomorskie (coordinator: Wiesław Grabowski)
• Special School Complex in Brodnica (coordinator: Katarzyna Jackiewicz)

Thanks to joint efforts, an impressive amount of waste was collected, approximately 1.5 tons, which was then handed over for disposal by local municipal services. Radosław Koj, head of the Environmental Protection Department of the Brodnica County Starosty, expressed gratitude for the effective cooperation.

The Brodnica County Starosty purchased the necessary materials, such as bags and gloves, allocating 2000 PLN for this purpose.

The involvement of students and teachers contributed to cleaning many corners of the county from accumulated waste, and the action became a valuable lesson in responsibility and caring for the natural environment.
