Tractor Races Welcome Autumn in Janówko!

Last Sunday, September 30, 2025, Janówko became the arena for the tenth edition of the tractor races, the highlight of the "Colors of Autumn" festival. The event gathered nearly two thousand spectators eager for sporting excitement and shared fun.

The tradition of races, initiated by the village leader Małgorzata Smoczyńska, gains popularity every year. Thanks to the cooperation of the Brzozie municipality and the Kalchem company, the event is constantly developing and attracting more and more fans.

Fierce Competition and Local Flavors

Participants competed in two categories: tractors up to 80 HP and over 80 HP. Spectators enthusiastically watched the timed slalom and the 1/4 mile race. The "Women on Tractors" competition was particularly popular. 16 machines started.

The slalom track surprised with turns, obstacles and a muddy section, which caused bursts of laughter. There were also local flavors, prepared by the Rural Housewives' Associations. The evening ended with a concert by the Topky duo, which captivated the audience to dance.

Representatives of the Brodnica County Board, including the Starosta Paweł Szramka and Deputy Starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski, took part in the event.
