Events Cycle Dedicated to Anna Vasa

The Brodnica Cultural Association invites you to a unique series of events commemorating the 400th anniversary of the death of Princess Anna Vasa, sister of King Sigismund III Vasa, famous for her passion for art, science and nature. This initiative is part of the Anna Vasa Princess Year celebrations, announced by the Brodnica County Council.

Event program:

September 28, 2025, 3:00 PM, cellars of the Teutonic Castle in Brodnica: Event entitled "Anna Vasa - a lover of art and nature" dedicated to herbs and plants cultivated by the princess in the palace garden in Brodnica. The program also includes herbal workshops.

November 23, 2025: Trip to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Toruń, where Anna Vasa's burial place is located.

The organizer of the events is the Brodnica Cultural Association. The project was co-financed by the Brodnica County.
